Cast aluminum is a durable and strong material, and allows this fixture to thrive in the tough conditions of an outdoor environment. Aluminum is also lightweight, so installing this fixture on a post is easy. Fits on most 3" post fitters and is ETL approved for wet locations.
Fluorescent Lamping and White Polycarbonate Lens: Available in a 13w (GM181) or 26w (GM183) version, this fluorescent post top mount light uses a combination of a S13-GU24 (13w) or S26-GU24 (26w) socket and a compact fluorescent bulb to provide high quality, energy efficient lighting. Fluorescent bulbs will give you brilliant illumination while uses less energy than a standard halogen bulb. Keeping your bulb safe from the harmful outdoor elements is a heavy duty, heat resistant, white polycarbonate lens that adds an elegant glow that suits and outdoor lighting arrangement.
