Illuminate Your Outdoor Landscape with In-Ground Well Lights

Illuminate your outdoor space with AQ Lighting’s extensive line of in-ground well lights. They will turn your dark landscape into a captivating nighttime oasis. AQ Lighting’s in-ground well lights are perfect for residential or commercial properties. Our well lights are built to last yet and look spectacular. Whether you are uplighting trees, illuminating walkways or highlighting architectural features, AQ Lighting has the in-ground well light to meet your needs.

Why Use an In-Ground Well Light?

  1. Ultra-Low Profile: Unlike spots and floods, in-ground well lights are buried in the ground creating an ultra-low profile. Some in-ground well lights allow foot traffic and lawn mowers. Some are even rated for vehicular traffic. Do not assume that your well light can be driven over. Make sure that it specifically states that it is drive overrated.
  2. Versatility: In-ground well lights are extremely versatile. They can uplight tall trees, flag poles, building facades or illuminate pathways and driveways. In-ground well lights are built to withstand harsh weather conditions, so they are suitable for almost any environment.
  3. Safety and Security: In-ground well lights can be used to illuminate many hazardous dark areas of your property like steps, driveways and dark areas around the perimeter of your house or property. Illuminating these areas can reduce the risk of falls and also help prevent burglaries and vandalism.
  4. Energy Savings: In-ground well lights with integrated LED light sources are becoming more popular. LED technology has been proven to consume far less energy than conventional incandescent bulbs resulting in a substantial reduction on energy bills and even helping to ease the strain on our electrical grid.

Key Features of Our In-Ground Well Lights

  1. Heavy Duty Construction: AQ Lighting’s in-ground well lights are built to last. We build our in-ground well lights with either heavy duty ABS or solid cast brass. Both ABS and cast brass will not rust or corrode and will last for years to come. You can’t go wrong by choosing either material.
  2. Adjustable Beam Spreads: AQ Lighting’s integrated well lights come standard with swappable beam spread lenses. Choose a 35° lens for applications that require tighter beam spreads or a 60° lens for flood light applications. For all of our bulb ready well lights we carry one of the widest selections of beam spreads in the industry. Many of our bulb types range from a 15° spot to a 100° super wide flood.
  3. Adjustable Socket: Many of AQ Lighting’s in-ground well lights are equipped with adjustable sockets or adjustable integrated LED light sources. This is especially critical for aiming purposes. Well lights can be installed in front of building facades, shrubs or other landscaping features and then the light source can be aimed back toward where the illumination is required instead of just going straight up and missing the target.
  4. Easy Installation: Many of AQ Lighting’s low voltage well lights come equipped with our convenient no splice connection system, NSC. This is the fastest and most reliable installation system on the market today. Are you old school and don’t want to try something new? No worries, just cut off the NSC fitting and install using your favorite method.

A Wide variety of Covers to Choose From

  • Open Cover: This is the most basic as well as the most popular. It is predominately used for uplighting. Most fixtures with open covers can withstand foot traffic and even lawnmowers. For these reasons it is an excellent option to use anywhere in your yard.
  • Grill Cover: Also used for uplighting but not quite as popular as the open cover. This cover has a couple of benefits. One, the grill helps protect the glass lens from debris. It also helps to defend against glare. For a quality landscape job, it’s very important to minimize as much irritating glare as possible.
  • Directional Covers or Mushroom Covers: This is another extremely popular cover. AQ Lighting offers 3 different styles of mushroom covers, single, double and tri directional. Illumination from a directional cover is emitted outward and upward at an angle. They can be used for many different applications. Pathways, along driveways as marker lights or even uplighting low ground foliage.
  • Glare Shields / Eyebrow Covers: Glare shields are most used for uplighting. They are also one of the most underused covers. As stated above, minimizing glare is crucial to a high-quality landscape lighting project. Glare shields and eyebrow covers do exactly that. The next time you need uplighting, think about using a glare shield. You won’t regret it.
