Completely potted and designed to be installed below-grade, this magnetic, low voltage transformer could be your ideal solution for your landscape lighting systems. Constructed from heavy duty bronze, high temperature fiberglass composite, the DB-212 series was made to be placed outdoors in even the worst of environments. The transformer features a built-in magnetic circuit breaker for overload protection and an isolation type transformer (no contact between the 12V and 120V bindings). Single phase and open core/coil, it is a workhorse of a transformer. UL certified (1838/1598 rated) and backed by a 3 year manufacturer warranty (on enclosure and mechanical/electrical components), the DB-212 meets or exceeds the requirements on most outdoor lighting projects.
