Twin Circuit Step Down Transformer PTX1.2SD

This is AQL's twin circuit, drop down outdoor transformer for low voltage systems. This is exclusively designed for retro-fitting standard AC outdoor transformer systems from halogen to LED. LED fixtures do not use a 1/10th of the wattage draw that typical halogen fixtures, so some transformers have built-in voltage drop systems built into their systems, which may result in higher voltage than expected output. LED bulbs are highly sensitive to differing voltages and higher voltages will damage LED bulbs. This unit makes certain that 12V output stays 12V. Simply wiring this transformer into your run, you can choose if you wish to drop 1 or 2 volts coming from the transformer, protecting those delicate (and expensive) LED light bulbs.
