Heavy duty, commercial grade polycarbonate material composes the body and lens of this ceiling light. The quality and choice of material ensure you get a product that is sure to last in the punishing conditions that comes along with an indoor or outdoor environment. Polycarbonate is also a light weight material This fixture uses a medium base socket so as to give you a wide range of lamping options with an "A" style bulb. While designed as a halogen fixture, the medium base socket is compatible with highly energy efficient LED "A" bulbs. LED is the most energy efficient and long lasting lamping on the market, with a 2w LED bulb able to put out the same amount of light as a 25w halogen bulb. Available in high quality black and white finishes (base only). ETL Approved. Bulbs not included with this fixture.

While this fixture can support a traditional halogen bulb up to 25w, if you are looking for a more energy efficient option, AQL has you covered. The medium base socket is compatible with energy efficient LED "A" bulbs. LED technology will save you both time and money, as it uses a fraction of the power that halogen does, and lasts for years and years longer.
