That's because this LED landscape area light utilizes an integrated LED panel for its light source. Protected by a clear plastic diffuser, the built-in LED panel uses just 6w of energy to create beautiful lighting in a 360° around the fixture's base. The D5606 uses a 1/2" NPT thread to attach to mounting accessories like ground spikes or posts (sold separately). The D5606 is available in your choice of powdercoated black or bronze.
